  • Samples - This is my fifth sample. To create this unusual material I first cleaned and Ironed a crisp packet shiny side up. I then fused a plastic wallet onto the crisp packet using the Iron. Finally to create a 'worn' look on the piece I burnt several holes into it; using a candle flame.

  • Samples- This is my fourth sample of Mylar Foil that has been Ironed onto bubble-wrap and then peeled off. I think this sample links really well with the circular shapes on the space like Selfridge's building.

    Beth Greene MIY: Step by Step Instructions for making: BUBBLE WRAP MYLAR FOIL:

    1. Firstly I placed a piece of mylar foil onto bubble wrap.

    2. I then ironed over the Mylar foil and peeled it away from the bubble wrap.

    3. This creates a lovely pattern on the mylar foil and on the bubble wrap as the gold from the foil sticks to the bubble wrap circles.1665 days ago
