Ceiling Rose: 250mm diameter reclaimed beech disc with 3 equally spaced 20mm holes, inset 50mm from the edge (Wood Workshop- Router)180x220mm MDF ring , attached directly on top of disc to form hollow section of ceiling rose for wiring housing (jigsaw)Lamp Shades:Re-used wine bottles, sandblasted and cut at 45? angle using diamond cutter and flatbed sander (through local glass workshop technicians)Electronics:3x BC Cord-grip light fittings wired in parallel using 3A Dual-Core lighting cable via a 30A junction box to power source.Cable Sheath:Dual-Core cable ran through 2.5mm brass pipe, cut at 15

You will need: 3x bottles, bulbs and corresponding fittings; dual-core lighting cable; timber; and various fixings.
Through your local glass workshop: sand-blast used bottles.
Cut bottles at 45? and sand to remove the bottom sections. Your local glass workshop can help you with this.
Commission your local hardware store or wood workshop to cut and drill the disc and ring from your chosen timber. Assemble using  self-tapping wood screws.
Cut brass pipe to 3 lengths (15
Using a screwdriver and a scalpel, wire the light fittings, run  each cable through a bottle and a length of pipe. Glue rubber discs on the top side of the timber ceiling rose to secure the brass pipe.
Wire all 3 cables in parallel directly into 1 junction block.
Secure all cables to ceiling rose using fixing blocks and self-tapping screws.

Finished product: mounted similar to smoke detectors; twist-mount on ceiling via screws and slotted hole 90? brackets. Enjoy the glow of Vin du Lumi
