A fit for purpose swimming accessories bag, cleverly made from reused swimming shorts. Highly practical and an ideal product to keep small swimming accessories in, such as goggles, hats, ear plugs or even a costume.

Create the paper pattern, with the dimensions shown.
Place the reused swimming shorts fabric onto the pattern and cut out pieces for the main body of the bag.
Cut the length of drawstring that is needed from the shorts.
Place fabrics facing (inside out) and pin into place.
Sew along the two sides and the bottom edges of the fabric.
Trim away any loose threads and then fold open edge outwards 10mm.
Cut two small holes and thread the drawstring underneath the lip.
Pin into place and secure.
Sew along the edge of the lip.
Cut away any excess threads and turn inside out so that it is the right way around.
The finished swimming accessories bag complete and ready to use.
