Making Instructions (Login to see the full instructions)

To begin with, take off the tops and bottoms of eight larger cans using a can opener as this is the quickest, safest and most effective method.
Once all the tops and bottoms are taken off, using a pair of scissors, cut each can down the side where the barcode is displayed and then round the label so you are left with a rectangular sheet.
Two holes must be now pierced in each piece, making sure that the holes on the top and bottom are parallel to each other, enabling for an eyelet to be pushed through each connecting them together and causing the front to rise up.
Then slot both over the neck of the lamp, the vertical on must be placed on first followed by the second one fitted horizontally. The neck is then screwed in place to secure both sheets.
Two holes are pierced in the top sheet it is then folded over with the decorative side showing and fastened using eyelets to the bottom sheet.
To finish off the top on the base, pierce two more holes in the back end of the top sheet, making sure they are again parallel and relatively close to the edge.
For the shade four holes are pierced into two sheets, the holes should be diagonal to each other as show in the picture. One side must be fastened with eyelets first and the sheets are then rolled into a cone shape and fastened on the opposite side. The band at the back of the shade is cut and placed on the two back eyelets.
For the bottom of the base another two sheets are needed, one must be fastened to the right hand side of the base using eyelets and then stretched round and fastened to the left hand side.
To complete the base of the lamp one more sheet must be fastened to the left of the base, then stretched round to the right where it must be fastened again using eyelets.
All there is left to do is plug in the lamp and switch it on.
