Making Instructions (Login to see the full instructions)

Materials needed.
Choose desired images for the outer side of the lampshade. Use Spray Mount to back it onto some type of card
Draw verticle linesfrom the top to the bottom 30mm apart, from left to right.
Repeat this on the side with the image.
Score every other line, starting with the first drawn verticle line on the left side, with the image. Repeat this on the blank side scoring every other one, starting with the second drawn line, opposite to the image side of the card.
Fold over the scored lines to create a fan type form.
repeat the last five stages on another four images. This will make four sides of the lamp shade.
Pinch the fan together and drill a hole straight through the top, centre and bottom area. Some sort of thin pole is threaded through the holes so diameter of hole depends on the type of pole used. the hole should be slightly bigger than the pole.
I used copper rod. I cut twelve at 300mm in length. I combined every two copper rods with hot glue
Thread the fan images on to the poles and attach the two opposite corner rods with hot glue, leaving 40mm extra over the point were the two rods cross.
Use the copper wire out of an electrical cable to wrap around hot glued areas to give a nicer finish.
At this stage, should look like this.
Cut a piece of plastic for the light fitting to sit in that measures the length of the corners diagonally. More copper wire can be used to wrap it around securely.
