Firstly using thin old material measure the top half of your body to get the correct size in the shapes shown above. Tac all the sections together so that it is one piece and ready to sew together neatly with a sewing machine.
Once all of the top section has been sewed together it should look like this when pinned to a mannequin
The back of the dress should look like this once it has been pinned to the mannequin. The top section shouldnt meet as it will be joint together using ribbon later on.
Tie strips of netting to a large thick ribbon until you have filled it all the way round.
Now fold every dairy milk wrapper into a square and then using a sewing machine sew around each edge of the sweet wrapper. To create a patchwork effect.
Once completed the top section should look like this- completely covered in dairy milk wrappers, front and back.
Fold each individual sweet wrapper in the centre and so that they form a triangle shape, then attach to the netting in rows of 3 with small gaps until the whole strip is full.
once the whole skirt section is finished it should look like this picture, if your skirt isn
finally sew the same length ribbons onto each side of the dress to hold the dress in place when you have it on.
your finally outcome should look like the dress shown in this picture. You can even add accessories such as hair pieces and rings.
