The JDRT Lamp is an easy DIY lamp. It gives brightness to a room and is a good conversation starter. Perfect to light up a drinks cabinet / edge of a bar... or just a very keen drinker of Jack Daniels!

Materials & Equipment List

Materials:1x Jack Daniels Bottle3x Jack Daniels and Cola Tin Cans1x Plug1x Lampshade1x Mains Wiring1x Light Bulb Socket1x Light BulbEquipment:1x Glass Drill1x Wire Cutters1x Scissors1x Hot Glue Gun1x Screwdriver

Making Instructions (Login to see the full instructions)

Firstly, take the top of the Jack Daniels Bottle off and position it as to where you want the lead to come out from. Drill slowly until you have fully penetrated the glass.
Feed the wire through the mouth of the bottle and pull it through the new hole recently drilled. Add the plug to the end of the wire.
This is what your soon to be lamp should now look like!
Then add the light socket to the top of the wire and pull it tight using the other end of the wire.
Your lamp should now look like this.
Then to make the lampshade cut your tin can into flat sheets.
Then refine the pieces of tin to what you want to have on your lampshade.
Then, using your hot glue gun add the tin can cut outs decorativly on your lampshade.
After doing this put your lampshade on your bottle/light socket and it should look something like this.
Then put in your light bulb, make sure its the right wattage!
And there you have it, the JDRT Lamp!
