Making Instructions (Login to see the full instructions)

Collect a range of plastic bottle tops and rings.
Wash the tops and leave them to dry.
Create a design in AutoCAD.
Cut your design out of 3mm MDF with a lasercutter. Before removing from the lasercutter, secure it with masking tape.
Remove the areas where you want your tops and rings to go.
Apply PVA glue to the remaining wood and apply a layer of foil. Leave to dry completely.
Neaten the edges of the rings and cut down to the right size.
Arrange the tops and rings into the mould.
Place in the oven at approximately 170 degrees for about 1 hour, or until melted. Leave to cool completely.
After it has cooled, remove the wooden mould very carefully.
Heat again at a low temperature until soft. Bend it into your desired shape and hold until it cools.
If you wish to spray paint it, do so now.
After the paint is dry, you can use it for whatever you want!
