Walnut Hardwood
Hole Saws of various sizes.
Pillar Drill
Band saw
Disc Sander
Hand tools (Hack saw, Tenon saw, Chisels, Files)
Work bench with vice.
Sand paper
Battery powered drill.
Set of forstner bits
3mm screws
2 Sink taps
1 Wall tap
Toughened Glass shelf
1 Mounting plate

Making Instructions (Login to see the full instructions)

1. Cut block of wood out 65x55x55mm on the band saw.
2. Cut out the right angle 10mm on the 55mm side and 15mm on the 65mm side. This will make the core structure for the bracket. (See image on left)
3. Using a pillar drill, drill a 25mm hole though the 15mm thick section with a forstner bit. This should be measured 25mm away from the front edge.
4. On the end of the 15m section, measure 5mm each side and cut the slither out using a band saw.
5. File the groove so the glass slides in tightly.
6. Place tap in 25mm hole and draw around the base of the tap.
7. On the disc sander, sand the front of the 15mm section up to your line to make the tap base flush with the wood. (See image on left)
8. On the back of the 10mm section, chisel out a section for the wall mounting plate to be fixed. This will be approximately 1mm in chiselled out.
9. Draw round the fixing plate to get the screw head slot.
10. Use an 8mm drill (may vary) and drill out the whole part you have drawn round with the pillar drill.
11. Place mounting plate in the chiselled out section, use the screws provided to fix the plate to the bracket. (a pilot hole would be a good idea for these)
